Celebrating the Tastes, Sounds and Spirit of Richardson
The annual Culture in The CORE event will take place on Saturday, Nov. 2. Culture in The CORE will run from 2:30-6:30 p.m. at Main Street Plaza, 105 S. Interurban St.
Culture in The CORE is a free, family-friendly event that takes place each fall and brings together Richardson’s diverse communities to have fun, to learn and to experience the music, dance, foods and arts of different cultures.
Culture in The CORE will include a variety of local culinary options, drinks, shopping and live entertainment. Popular vendors will also be in attendance, offering a selection of items for purchase.
Parking, which will be available at most public lots around Main Street Plaza, and admission are free - tickets are available here.

Polyphonic Dallas

This Richardson-based band, blends classic Western musical instruments with traditional Turkish instruments, such as the 'kanun,' to craft a unique sound. Their music introduces listeners to the captivating and dynamic intricacies of Turkish music, while offering a fresh perspective on popular Western tunes with an Eastern twist. Their diverse set list will feature songs like Baris Manco's 'Sari Cizmeli Mehmet Aga,' 'Bir Derdim Var' by 'Mor ve Otesi,' 'Olurum Hasretinle' by 'Seksendort' and 'Jenny' by Tommy Tutone.
Pegasus Theatre

Trade-secret makeup, special lighting, meticulous costuming and set creation, combined with stylized acting creates the illusion that the audience is watching, not just a play, but a 1930's-40's black-and-white movie brought to life on stage.
